Live Chat is a floating chat widget plugin for Botble CMS. It adds a chat button to your website that visitors can click to start a real-time conversation with you. You manage all conversations from a messenger-style admin panel.
Visitors click the floating chat button on your site, enter their name, and start typing messages. You receive browser notifications and email alerts for new conversations. Reply from the admin panel and your messages appear instantly in the visitor's chat widget.
Yes. You can customize the widget colors, position (bottom-left or bottom-right), avatar image, title, welcome message, and whether to show or hide it on mobile devices — all from the Live Chat settings page in your admin panel.
Create webhooks in the admin panel under Live Chat → Webhooks. Enter a URL endpoint and an optional secret key. When a new conversation starts or a message arrives, the plugin sends a signed POST request to your URL. Supports Slack, Discord, n8n, Zapier, and any custom HTTP endpoint. Payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256.
Yes. You can configure working days, start and end times, and timezone in the plugin settings. Outside of working hours the widget automatically switches to an offline state. You can also manually toggle online/offline status from the admin panel.
The plugin supports browser desktop notifications (with sound) when a new message arrives in the admin panel, and email notifications to alert your team about new conversations. You can also set up webhooks to send events to Slack, Discord, or any other service.
